Fees
Our Fee Structure
Our practice has signed up to be a Medicare Bulk Billing Practice.
This means we will bulk bill all Medicare-eligible patients for all eligible services under the program.
All GPs must bulk bill you for all eligible services at this practice.
Bulk billing means we accept the Medicare benefit as full payment for a service, and you don’t have to pay any gap fee.
Eligible services
You will be bulk billed for eligible services under the program.
These services include:
-
GP consultations
-
Chronic condition management plans and reviews
-
Mental health treatment plans
-
Health assessments.
Some services won’t be bulk billed, so you may still have to pay a fee for these services. These services are not eligible under the program and include:
-
Procedures like skin excisions
-
Iron Infusions
-
Travel Vaccinations
-
Allied health and other non-GP services.
-
Medical Reports
Patients without a Medicare number
If a patient’s Medicare eligibility cannot be determined or the patient does not have a Medicare card number at the time of service, the practice may not be able to bulk bill. If this situation arises, you should discuss the options with your practice.
If you are eligible for Medicare at the time of the service, we may hold the account for you until you are able to provide us with your Medicare number.
Patients who may not have a Medicare card number include newborn babies, newly arrived migrants or overseas visitors under a reciprocal healthcare agreement.
Please call to enquire about fees for non-Medicare card holders.
